Dirtopia Trail Centre is based on Delvera farm (R44 between Stellenbosch & Klapmuts) and was created to provide active travellers with hiking and mountain bike trail information as well as serve as a base for permit sales for a range of trails in the Klapmutskop Conservancy.

The shop is open 7 days a week from from 08h00 to 17h00 and permits for the marked hiking & mountain bike trails (incl Terrain Park etc) cost R25 per person per day (R10 for kids under 10).  Shower facilities available for trail users.  There is also an 'honesty permit box' to use outside of these hours.

Mountain bikes for hire from Trail Centre: 10 front suspension Giant Boulder (all sizes). More bikes available on request.

Front Suspension: R100 half day, R150 Full day. Dual suspension Trance X4 large: R250

Delivery to Stellenbosch R50, Somerset West R100. Helmet, waterbottle & basic bike tools provided.

The shop also acts as the Dirtopia HQ where we run our MTB events & trailbuilding projects from. Apart from permit sales the Trail Centre also stocks a wide range of Falke socks, clothing & Dirtopia T-shirts, caps, beanies etc. Mountain bikers can get the essentials like tubes, tyreliners, pumps & patchkits at great prices!

The snackbar and drinks are well stocked to take care of cravings and thirst... Other stuff includes sunscreen, sunglasses (adidas at great prices!), Buffs etc. The shop also carries accommodation and tourism information brochures.

We do various options of wine tours on mountain bikes on request (minimum of 4 riders). From R350 half a day (bike hire, cellar tour, guide & wine tasting included), you can visit 4 farms in the Simonsberg region. See the website link for more info.

NORDIC WALKING

Come for lessons at the Trail Centre. Cost R75 (pole hire, lesson & permits included). Takes about 1 hour with lesson and walk on farm. Contact us to book for a lesson.
